About Me

I consider myself a fiber artist and designer, but I also love to paint and take photos.  Having studied watercolor painting under a few artists in Vermont, I discovered that I enjoy painting flowers, vegetables, landscapes, buildings, mountain scenes, and inspirational paintings. I love textured paintings, impasto, and using a palette knife. 

I have been taking photos since the 1980s, mainly of animals, plants, flowers, the ocean, and enjoy close-ups using a zoom lens. Most, if not all, of my camera equipment was given to me as a gift, and I am thankful for this. I enjoy taking photos and have a keen eye for details and seeing things from a different point of view. If I can capture the details of things in my artwork, I'm there!

My artwork is done from my heart. I am inspired from within to produce these pieces and feel connected to God throughout the process. I consider my paintings "blessed," as they produce a feeling of calmness by the viewer.
